Welcome to MathTabla (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. If you are under the age of 13, you may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Description of the Service

MathTabla provides interactive educational tools, curriculum-aligned content, analytics, and related features designed to support teaching and learning. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

3. Accounts and Access

  • You may need an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
  • If you create an account on behalf of a school or organization, you represent that you are authorized to do so and that the organization accepts these Terms.
  • We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or for security, operational, or legal reasons.

4. Privacy and Student Data

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information. When used in schools, the Service is intended to support compliance with applicable student data protections, including FERPA where applicable in the United States. You are responsible for obtaining any required consents and providing required notices to guardians and students.

5. Acceptable Use

  • Do not misuse the Service, attempt to disrupt its operation, or access it using unauthorized means.
  • Do not upload content that is unlawful, infringing, harassing, or otherwise inappropriate.
  • Respect intellectual property and privacy rights when creating or sharing content within the Service.

6. Content and Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by MathTabla and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for its intended educational purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, host, or sell any part of the Service without prior written permission.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may rely on or link to third-party services. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

8. Warranties and Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law or operational considerations. Upon termination, provisions that by their nature should survive will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.
